P. 8 Updated the ShurAlign Pipe Guide at the bottom of the page. Johnson Screen, the new owners of Modern Products - the manufacturers of ShurAlign Drop Pipe - did a review of ShurAlign pipe performance and updated the ‘Pipe Guide’ based on a discharge pressure of 60PSI. Check it out – this is a fantastic product and quality has improved with the new owners. Many submersible pump installations from fractional horsepower jobs to high capacity 4” pumps can be installed on ShurAlign. For example, 2” ShurAlign is good to 400ft with a 7-1/2HP Pump!
P. 11 Moved the 20, 30 and 50GPM Berkeley Pump Curves from page 12 to the bottom of page 11 so they can be matched up with the Berkeley Pump Ends listed on page 11. Excellent product!
P. 16 Added the Pentek and CentriPro 2-Wire and 3-Wire Single Phase Motor Wiring Chart to the bottom of this page. Since the McDermott Classic, Myers ST, Berkeley ‘J’ and Red Jacket pumps now come with the Pentek (Pentair) and CentriPro (ITT) branded motor from Faradyne, we needed a chart that showed cable requirements for the new motors. (The Franklin Electric motor cable charts are on page 7 of our catalog.)
P. 23 Added Kalas’ 10-3 and 10-2 PVC ‘Ice Blue’ Flat Jacketed Pump Cable to our offering. Part numbers KAL10-3PG500ICE and KAL10-2PG500ICE respectively. We have had the 12-3 and 12-2 ‘Ice Blue’ Flat Jacketed cable for some time now and we thought it was time to add #10 as well. Great stuff, very flexible even in extremely low temperatures.

P. 28 Added two (2) products from WYO-BEN. The first product is WYOGW-DF which is a grout for water well casing seals and comes in 50# bags. The second product is WYOPLUG-ZIT and is a product for filling cracks and voids in formation and comes in 30# bags. Moved ShurAlign Schedule 120 PVC Drop Pipe to the bottom of this page to make room for the new 5” PVC Well Casing on page 29.
P. 29 We are very excited to announce the availability of a Wisconsin State Approved 5” SDR21 PVC Well Casing that uses F-480 Flush Threads to join the pipe together. NO MORE GLUEING – NO MORE COUPLINGS! This product from Johnson Screen comes with Female F-480 threads on one end and Male F-480 threads with a viton o-ring on the other. Flush Joints mean this product can also be used as a liner in 6” steel casing! The part number for the 5” PVC Well Casing and Liner is UOP5X20SDR21. We also stock 5” x 10” Schedule 40 PVC Adapters that allow you to transition from either Male or Female F-480 flush threads to an MIP thread for ease of handling and well screen connection. Part number for the Female F-480 to MIP Adapter is UOP1195023 and the part number for the Male F-480 to MIP Adapter is UOP1196658. This is an exciting NEW product made even more promising by the rapid rise of Steel Prices! Check it out – it may be a ‘moneymaker’ for you!
P. 31 Added the GAG-SimTech Field Assembled Filter with Plastic Screen Insert and 600 Micron Sock. Part Number: GAGSTF-100P2/600. This less expensive alternative to the GAGSTF-100A2 uses a plastic insert screen versus stainless steel. Although the 600 Micron Sock is required the price for the GAGSTF-100P2/600 is considerably less than the GAGSTF-100A2!
P. 32 Added Blue Angel Sump Pumps in 1/3HP and 1/2HP 115V models. These powerful state-of-the-art sump pumps come with the revolutionary new ‘Intellisense’ switch which uses embedded capacitors to ‘sense’ the water and turn the pump on. The switch also gives the pump a very narrow profile so it should fit in any tight sump basin without fear of a switch ‘hang-up’. These pumps come with an unheard of Five (5) Year Warranty!
